Buyer guidance
Because this is a used reception counter, inspect the overall timber condition, including any scratches, dents, or water marks, before purchase. Confirm the exact dimensions and whether the piece can be moved through doorways, lifts, and corridors at your premises. Ask the seller whether the counter can be separated into sections for transport, and check that all fixings, joints, and supports are intact. In particular, look at the grey trim for any chipping or lifting, and verify that the counter is stable on a level floor. Request precise measurements and close-up photographs if the listing does not already show them, so you can be sure the counter will fit the intended space.
