This ex-display double bed is a 4ft6 frame base in a blue fabric finish, offered as clearance stock without reserve. It includes slats, and the new cut foam mattress can be taken as well if you want it. The bed has been on display rather than in daily use, so it is a cost-effective way to furnish a bedroom. The mattress is firm, with a rectangular shape and a fabric cover, and it carries CertiPUR-US certification.
What Is Included
- Double 4ft6 bed frame base in blue fabric
- Slats for mattress support
- New foam mattress that has been cut, and will need a cover
- Firm rectangular mattress with CertiPUR-US certification
- Adult size, made in the 21st century
Condition and Collection Notes
The mattress foam is in good condition and has never been directly slept on, but because it has been cut, you will need to fit a mattress cover before use. The frame is ex-display stock, so check it over at collection to make sure it suits your requirements. Collection is only available on Saturdays or Sundays, and the item is offered with no reserve. Ex-display and end-of-line beds are often priced below full retail because they have been used as showroom samples or discontinued by the manufacturer. This can be a sensible option if you are happy to collect and check the item yourself. You are unlikely to find a cheaper bed, and similar pieces sell for hundreds of pounds elsewhere.
