Condition Notes
Although the box has been opened for display, this is a new item. The outer packaging has superficial marks, so please look at the photographs because they show the exact unit for sale. The contents are described as perfect, with no missing or damaged pieces mentioned. This makes it a sensible choice for anyone who wants the starter set at an ex-display price.
Buying Ex-Display
Ex-display stock is usually a returned or showroom unit that cannot be sold as brand new in a standard shop. In this case, the product itself is new, and the only issue is cosmetic damage to the box. If you are buying for yourself, this is an easy way to save money on a genuine Wizards of the Coast product. If you are buying as a gift, bear in mind that the packaging may not be in mint condition. The miniatures game itself is aimed at players aged 12 and over and provides a two-player starting experience for the D&D Miniatures range.
