This Midtherm Vitrelux 5" (125mm) vitreous enamelled flue pipe bend is available as ex-display stock from a Swansea showroom. Construction and Performance
Midtherm Vitrelux pipe is manufactured to high standards. The superior grade zero carbon steel provides an excellent surface for the glass-like vitreous enamel, which is resistant to high temperatures and acid attack. This bend is suitable for use with gas, oil, and multi-fuel appliances rated up to 50kW output, where continuous flue gas temperatures can reach 450°C. It is also soot fire resistant. The socket and spigot joint system makes installation straightforward and, when sealed correctly, creates a leak-proof connection.
Important Usage Notes
This vitreous enamel flue pipe is designed as connecting pipework from the appliance into an existing lined chimney or a class 1 twin wall insulated stainless steel chimney, such as Midtherm's HTS range. It must not be used externally or to line a chimney. Always follow manufacturer installation instructions. As an ex-display item, please check the pipe for any minor handling marks or blemishes that may have occurred during display. The enamel coating is robust, but we recommend inspecting before fitting. This 15 degree elbow is a practical component for routing flue pipe around obstacles or connecting to a rear flue outlet.
