This Perrin & Rowe bath pillar tap in chrome is a hot-only fitting, supplied as an ex-display unit. It has been on show in a bathroom retail environment, so there are some tiny surface marks which are hardly noticeable at normal view. For a brand known for premium construction and classic styling, this is a cost-conscious way to complete a bath installation without paying full retail.

What to check before buying
Because this is an ex-display item, it may have been handled and wiped down many times. The marks are described as tiny and hardly noticeable, but always inspect the tap carefully for any scratches or tarnishing that might be more obvious under strong lighting. Confirm the inlet spacing and thread size for your bath before fitting, and check that the chrome finish suits your existing bathroom fixtures.
Why ex-display stock costs less
Ex-display pieces from showrooms are often end-of-line or returned display models. They still function as intended but carry cosmetic signs of handling, which is why they are priced below standard new stock. For buyers who are happy to accept minor surface marks, this type of clearance item offers a dependable brand at a more accessible price point.
